Estonian Refugee Council’s Christmas Bazaar: buy products from different corners of the world and support refugees and people with a migrant background
For the fourth year in a row, the Estonian Refugee Council's social enterprise Siin & Sääl organizes a Christmas bazaar, where refugees and people with a migrant background sell handcrafts, snacks, and sweets made by themselves.
For the last two years, the Christmas bazaar has been online only, but this year the Tallinn office of the Estonian Refugee Council will also open its doors to visitors.
"At our Christmas bazaar, you can get to know the different tastes and cultures of the world and fill the gift bags with original products for Christmas, which each can tell their own story. By purchasing things at the fair, you also support refugees and people with a migrant background living in Estonia," said the head of Siin & Sääl Kirke Piirikivi.
The Christmas Fair will take place in the Tallinn office of the Estonian Refugee Council (Liivalaia 28) on December 16 and 17 from 13:00 to 19:00, and the selection includes exciting crafts and food from different corners of the world. In the Siin & Sääl e-store, you can buy Christmas products from 7-15 December. Products from, for example, Ukraine, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Georgia, Togo, and Kenya are represented at the bazaar. Payment in cash.
