This project takes a multifaceted approach to empowering refugees in Estonia. First, a group of refugee girls and young adult women are empowered through group sessions which are facilitated using a proven intervention methodology. Second, refugee youth living in Estonia are targeted to provide them with a safe space to express their creativity and bring them closer to local youth through regular joint activities. Third, new methodological and communication materials are produced to help improve the societal tolerance and understanding towards refugees.
