Supporting vulnerable women's entrepreneurship in eastern Ukraine (3)
The goal of this project is to support vulnerable women living in settlements near the contact line or as internally displaced people in eastern Ukraine in reaching sustainable livelihoods. This is done through organizing open entrepreneurship workshops and two extensive entrepreneurship and mentorship programmes aimed at providing and improving practical skills and developing business plans. The best individuals and teams participating in the programmes are granted conditional entrepreneurship grants, followed by a 6 month-long mentorship programme to support sustainability of supported activities. The project results in the birth of sustainable small enterprises and development of existing women-led enterprises.
Project partners are Garage48 and Unity for the Future.
