Eesti Pagulasabi aitab Ukraina põgenikest ettevõtjatel äritegevust Eestis jätkata

Estonian Refugee Council, in cooperation with the Baltic Innovation Agency, invites Ukrainian refugees with previous business experience to participate in the Boost business development programme. The programme is conducted in Russian in Tartu and Jõhvi and includes, in addition to workshops, study tours and cultural events.

The joint programme of Estonian Refugee Council and the Labor Inspectorate supports the entry of refugees into the labor market 14.08.2023

This fall Estonian Refugee Council organises the "Employability" labor market programme in cooperation with the Labor Inspectorate, the aim of which is to help refugees enter the labor market here in Estonia. In the course of the programme, among other things, trends in the Estonian labor market, legal issues and CV preparation will be focused on, a total of half a hundred refugees will benefit from the programme.

The entrepreneurship programme created for refugees by Estonian Refugee Council and Garage48 is waiting for participants from all over Estonia this fall

The Empowering Women entrepreneurship programme, starting in September, welcomes people who have been forced to flee their homeland and want to rebuild their future in Estonia through entrepreneurship. The programme supports both businesses that are being built from scratch as well as companies that already exist but continue in the Estonian context.

Estonian Refugee Council August 8 overview on the topic of Ukraine

  • From April to the beginning of August, we provided food aid to over 24,000 people in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions. We will continue with the food programme in September, when we will add Kherson region to the receiving regions.

Estonian Refugee Council (ERC) is a value-driven non-governmental EU-certified humanitarian organisation. ERC was established 22 years ago and currently provides humanitarian assistance to displaced people and other vulnerable populations in 5 crisis-affected countries (Ukraine, Georgia, Jordan, Lebanon, and Kenya) and different support services to beneficiaries of international protection in Estonia. Our mission is to stand for the rights and well-being of refugees and other vulnerable groups in Estonia and abroad.

Estonian Refugee Council's 5th of June overview on the topic of Ukraine

  • We payed school allowance for all refugee children starting school in Estonia until the end of April this year. 5,016 children received support, in the total amount of 250,700 euros.
  • In two months, we have distributed more than 8,800 food packages to about 8,750 people in regions of Ukraine where it is not possible to provide monetary aid.

Estonian Refugee Councils overview on Ukraine - May 2nd

On April 22, 31 start-up companies in Ukraine were revealed, which will be supported with a total amount of more than 56,000 euros (about 2.27 million UAH).

We have distributed cash-based aid worth 40 million euros in Ukraine.

During the winter, we supported 5,187 vulnerable households in Ukraine and 250 in Georgia by distributing cash-based support worth over 1,870,000 euros.
